Belva Jean Armstead

Belva Jean Armstead, 89, of Charleston, passed away, October 5, 2021.

She was born February 7, 1932, in Jackson Co., to the late Clem Curtis and Ethel Price Withrow. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Charles Armstead, son, Donald Alan Armstead, grandsons, Michael Armstead and Nicholas Armstead..

Belva Jean worked in the nursery, of Trinity United Methodist Church, Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston, for over twenty years and loved walking, and her two fur babies, dog Pearl and cat Boogers.

She is survived by her loving family, sons, Lester (Melissa Carte) Armstead, Mike (Joyce) Armstead, grandchildren, Jimmy, Cara, Curtis, and Travis, 6 great-grandchildren, brother, Kermit Withrow.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, October 11, at Sissonville Memorial Gardens, Grapevine Rd., Sissonville, with Dr. Earl W. Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery beside her husband.
