Cathy Waugh

Cathy Waugh, 62, of Hurricane, WV, passed away, October  18, 2021.

She was born October 28, 1958, in Charleston, to the late Gene L. and Catherine Wheeler Parsons, who was an English Teacher at Stonewall Jackson High School. She was also preceded by aunt and uncle, Lillian and Bill Rock.

Cathy was a member of the Charleston High School Marching Band, member of the Crazy Yorky Ladies and Dudes and the Blvd. Church of Christ.

Cathy was an avid reader, loved photography, and throughly enjoyed the Yorkie Jamboree.

She is survived by her loving family,daughters, Kari (Matt) Conner of Winfield and Amie Waugh Glancy (Jake Reineke) of Stuart, Florida, her “Sissy” Lisa Rock of Port St. Lucie, Florida, grandchildren, Taylor Dawn Glancy, Madison Paige Conner, Gaige Michael Glancy, Eli Parker Conner, her fur babies, Peanut Butter and Jelli and a host of friends and loved ones.

Funeral Service will be held 6:00 PM, Thursday, October 21, in Elk Funeral Home, 2001 Pennsylvania Ave, Charleston, WV 25302, with Pastor Randy Ledsome officiating.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 PM, Thursday at the funeral home

Face masks will be required for all services.
