Charles A. McLaughlin Sr., 76, of Charleston, passed away, on April 9, 2017.
He was born September 9, 1940, in Charleston to the late Joseph A. and Anna-belle Ross McLaughlin.
His sisters, Maryann Mooney and Bertha Helen Cox, and brother, Joseph McLaughlin, also preceded him in death.
Charles was retired from Dutchess Bakery.
He is survived by his loving family, daughter, Carla (Al) Nieto; son, C. J. (Connie) McLaughlin; grandchildren, Alex and Nicholas Nieto, Lydia Hughes; and brother, Gary (Connie) McLaughlin.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 13, at the Elk Funeral Home, 2001 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston, with Brent Hoke officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service, Thursday, at the funeral home.
