David Sims Sr.

David Allen Sims Sr., 46, of Elkview, West Virginia, passed away on June 11, 2026, at CAMC Memorial.

David was born in Charleston, West Virginia, to the late Diana Lynn Lambert on July 1, 1979.

David was a mechanic and builder.

David is survived by his wife Patricia, brothers Cecil Stacy and John A. Stone, sisters Samantha Copen, Brittany Stacy, Vanessa Stacy, April Copen, Brenda Sims and Ashley Stacy, his children David Allen Sims Jr., Alia Lynn Sims, Daniel Clayton Sims and Osborne Allen Sims, granddaughter Lynley Skidmore, and step-dad Cecil Jake Copen.

Funeral arrangements are being planned and final arrangements will be updated.
