Diana Lou Rucker

Diana Lou (Shawver) Rucker, 66, of Charleston, passed away January 4, 2017, after a lengthy illness.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Fraine of Mass.; son, Michael Guerrette of W.Va.; and daughter-in-law, Melissa (Guthrie) Guerrette. She was also mother to the late Jason Savage. She had five grandchildren, Sean of W.Va., Chasity of Ohio, Brandon of W.Va., Avia of Mass., Ryan of Mass.; and three great-grandchildren, Arianna of Ohio, Roberto Julien of Ohio and Lorelai Eden of W.Va.
She took great pride in her service to St. Francis Hospital, where she proudly served as a volunteer for over 13 years.
For nearly 10 years, she combined her skill as a seamstress with her interest in porcelain dolls and opened up a small antique doll restoration business. At the time of her death she had amassed a private collection of more than 400 porcelain dolls.
