Frankie Lou Shinn

Frankie Lou Lucas Shinn died Monday, January, 23, 2023, at C.A.M.C. Memorial Hospital.
She resided in Charleston with her daughter, Jill Ehman. and her son-in-law, Kent Ehman.

She was born on December 1, 1929, in Point Pleasant, WV, to Cecil E. and Mildred E. Lucas.

She was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School and Huntington School of Beauty Culture.

Frankie was a member of Bellemead United Methodist Churchin Point Pleasant and the Kanawha City Baptist Church in Charleston. She was a gifted soprano and a member of the choir in both churches.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Keith Shinn; her sister, Violet M. Safford; and her nephew, Ronald Safford.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Kent Ehman, her granddaughters, Lauren A. Mabe of Charleston and Elizabeth M. Mabe of San Jose, CA, and her grandson, Michael Edmondo Ehman of San Diego, CA.  Also surviving are her sister, Grace Folden Hawk of Charlotte, NC, niece, LuAnn Burke of Charlotte, NC, nephews, Tony Folden of Charlotte, NC, and Steve Safford of Point Pleasant, WV.
