Garith T. Burdette

Garith Timothy Burdette, 64, of Campbells Creek, passed away on May 10, 2017.

He was born on October 28, 1952, in Kanawha County to the late Clifford and Norma Crowder Burdette.

Garith was a retired welder with South Charleston Stamping Plant, a member of the National Rifle Association, and the WV Citizens Defense League.

He enjoyed being outdoors and WVU Ballgames. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army.

Garith is survived by his loving family, sisters, Shirley Landers of Charleston and Alberta Mell of California, and friends, Randy McVey, Larry Brown, and Wayne Wheeler of Charleston.

At Garith's request, there will be no service.

The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors, and staff of CPICU, Memorial Hospital.
