Gary L. “Pops” Craft

Gary L. “Pops” Craft, 65, of Mill Creek, passed away on April 19, 2022, at the home of his daughter, surrounded by his family.

Gary was born June 24, 1956, in Charleston to the late James Hayden Craft, Jr. and Elsie Mae Kinser Craft.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, James Edward Craft, and a nephew, Casey Craft.

Gary’s favorite scripture was John 3:16

He loved riding horses and motorcycles, fishing and swimming, camping out and bonfires, Fireworks, with reports, and loved different kinds of music and loved cars, trucks, and drag racing.

Gary is survived by his loving family, son, Jamie (Melanie) Craft, daughter, Amanda Craft (David), grandchildren, Cory Austin, Kayla Elizabeth, Cheyenne Dawn, Cole Jacob Reed, Bryce Allen Dyer, siblings, Sharon Ann (Dan) Jenkins, Gregory Allen (Jean) Craft, both of Columbus, OH, Guy Wesley (Debbie) Craft of Dunbar, Rita Faye Selders, girlfriend, Nancy Blankenship.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, April 23, at the Elk Funeral Home, 2001 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston, WV  25302, with Pastor Dale Burger Officiating. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM, Saturday at the funeral home.
