Janice Irene Bryant

Janice Irene Bryant, 64, of Charleston, passed away on May 13, 2017.
She was born April 8, 1953, in Birmingham, Ala., to the late Dallas D. and Helen A. Taylor Light. She was also preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Terry Wayne Bryant.
Janice was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School, Class of 1971. She was a transcriptor for several area physicians. Janice loved the beach and was an avid crafter and chef.
She was a loving mother, daughter, and sister.
Janice is survived by her loving family, daughter, Kristen E. Bryant of Scott Depot; son, Matthew W. Bryant of Newport News, Va.; sister, Nina Light (Keith) Shinaberry of St. Albans; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Janice's life will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 18, at the Elk Funeral Home, 2001 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until service time, Thursday.
