Janice Rose Ayres

Janice Rose Ayres, 75, of Georges Creek, passed away on April 16, 2018.

She was born on December 4, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Norman and Josephine Compagno Hein. She was also preceded by a daughter, Melissa Townsend.

Janice worked diligently in her church and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her loving family: husband, Howard Ayres; daughter, Ashley (Mitchell) Taylor of Charleston; sons, David Snyder of Montgomery, Eugene (Pauline) Snyder of Logan, Ronnie (Patty) Snyder of Indiana, Bobby (Sandra) Snyder of Kentucky; 11 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 PM, Thursday, April 19, 2018, at the Salvation Army Charleston Citadel Corps, 301 Mary St., Charleston, WV  25302, with Major Joyce Michels officiating. Private burial will be at a later date in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the service time on Thursday at the church.
