John Harrah

John Harrah, 61, of Charleston, West Virginia, passed away on June 8, 2025. John was born on August 10, 1963, to John Harrah and Mary McBride Harrah.

In life, John was an appliance salesman and repairman for the business he co-owned with his father, J&J Appliances, now known as Casto Appliances.

John is preceded in death by his father, John Harrah, and brother, Allen Harrah. He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Harrah, mother, Mary McBride Harrah, brother, Robert "Bub" Harrah, sister, Marian Copen (Rod), children Jason Harrah (Sarah), Joseph Harrah (Brandi), Stephanie Erwin (Ronnie), Jennifer Harrah, Chris Casto, Daniel Williams, Brandon Williams, and Allison Williams (Seth Prak), and 15 grandchildren.

There will be a funeral held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, with a visitation from 12 pm - 1 pm, and the funeral service starting at 1 pm, officiated by Pastor Chris Sowards and Pastor Marvin Welch, at Open Door Apostolic Church, 2630 Kanawha Boulevard East, Charleston, WV, 25311.
