Katherine A. Toler Katherine A. "Kathy" Toler, 67, of Charleston, passed away, January 4, 2019. She was born August 4, 1951, to Gregory and Charlotte O'Dell. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Toler; sister, Joyce Shingleton; and father, Gregory L. O'Dell. She was a former employee of Kanawha County Schools. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and caring friend, who will be missed by all. Kathy is survived by her loving family: mother, Charlotte O'Dell; daughter, Melissa Toler; sister, Tammy Clark; brother, Gregory "Butch" O'Dell; grandsons, Austin and Dustin Toler; granddaughters, Charlotte, Kassandra "Kassie," Kaylee-Anne, and Katherine "Gracie" Toler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and her little buddy, Mason Patterson. A Celebration of Kathy's Life will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, January 10, at Elk Funeral Home, 2001 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston, WV 25302, with Pastor Carl Casto officiating.
