Katherine C. “Katie” Akers, 41, of Charleston, WV, passed away, June 24, 2020.
She was born in Miami, Florida, to the late, Thomas L. and Carolyn Helmick Akers.
She was a graduate of Capital High School.
Katie is survived by her brother, Michael Akers and his wife, Carly, nephew, Thomas, several aunts and uncles and cousins.
A service is planned at a later date and will be announced.
