Linda Harper Snodgrass, 83, of Charleston, went to be with the Lord, August 31, 2024.
She was born November 1, 1940, in Spencer, West Virginia, to the late Amos T. Harper and Doris V. Harper. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Eddie” Snodgrass, brother Jerry W. Harper, and sister Brenda K. Campbell.
She was the owner/administrative manager of Ed’s All Clean Disposal Service. Linda was a member of Cathedral of Prayer Southern Baptist Church where she loved to sing in the choir. She was also a former Sunday School Teacher.
She is survived by her loving family; children, Kimberly (Rick) Newcomer, Pam (Scott) Hylbert-Eder, Charles E. Snodgrass Jr (Cheri Ross), and John Hylbert and Cathy Snodgrass; grandchildren, Justin Hylbert, LaGretta(George) Crowley, Lindsay(Eric) Osborne, Brooke(Jack) Field, Casey Snodgrass, Conner (Anna) Snodgrass, Corey Snodgrass; great-grandchildren, Elijah Crowley, Lailei Hunt, Isabella Crowley and Hayden Field; sisters Ann(Slim) Edens, Debi Harper; brothers, Roger(Sue) Harper, Terry Harper, Ronnie(Karen) Harper, Darrell Campbell; several nieces and nephews; special friends Don Sexton and Joyce Loving.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, September 6, at Cathedral of Prayer Southern Baptist Church, 2324 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston WV 25302, with Pastor Kevin Norvell officiating. Burial will follow in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney. Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to service time, on Friday at the church.
