Lorene L. "Cookie" Shinn, 77 of Charleston, WV, passed away, January 19, 2020 after a short illness due to cancer.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Jack Shinn, and daughter, Dianna Walden.

She enjoyed life to the fullest.

She is survived by, Richard her son, granddaughter, Ricci, who she thought of as her daughter and was so proud of her accomplishments, granddaughter, Crystal and Jessica, grandson, Jessie, and all of her great-grandchildren. Her step-son, Brian, and a very special man in her life, Marvin Sirk, for the past 14 years, a special friend, Patsy, my two daughters-in-law, Maria and Missy, special friends, Mary and Terri, Ricci's husband, my John Boy and dear friend, Lindsey Pernell.

At my request there will be no service.
