Margaret Ann Smith

Margaret Ann Smith, 84, of Charleston, WV, passed away on December 2, 2016.

She was born July 15, 1932, in Gary, WV, to the late Miles Andrew and Mable Georgia Quillin Sutherland.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Delmer “Jack” Smith, son, Garry, and sister, Wanda Chalfant

Margaret was a graduate of Guyan Valley High School, Class of 1948, where she was valedictorian and homecoming queen.  She was a housewife.

She was a precious mother, loving wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Kathy Jo (Michael) DePew of Middletown, Ohio, son, Michael, with whom she resided, sister, Carol Sexton, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson.
