Mary Ann Scarberry Simmons

Mary Ann Scarberry Simmons, 62, of Charleston, WV, passed away on November 15, 2017. She was born on October 31, 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Carl Edward and Mary Louisa Harless Scarberry.  She was also preceded in death by a son, James Allen Vance, and three brothers, Roger, Carl, and Dennis Scarberry. She is survived by her loving family, husband, James Simmons, daughters, Tammy Scarberry, Kristina Simmons, and Tina Edwards, brothers, William, Hughie, Tony, and Joe Scarberry, sisters, Ruby Scarberry, Edna Danford, and Brenda Ritchie. She was a woman of faith who praised her Savior and, as she would say, "I Love You to the Moon and Back, and Jesus Loves You Too".  Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, December 4, 2017, at the Elk Funeral Home, 2001 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston, WV 25302, with Pastor Art Morrison officiating. Private burial will be held at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes, WV.
