Mary H. Kidd

Mary H. Kidd, 85, of St. Albans, passed away, August 31, 2021.

She was born May 5, 1936, in Kanawha County to the late Earl Clinton Doughty, Sr. and Nora Ellen Edens Doughty. Mary was also preceded by her husband, Walter Estil Kidd, a daughter, Sheryl Ann Kidd and a brother, Earl Doughty, Jr.

She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, loved gardening and flowers, and ran the bakery at the Foodland on Bigley Ave.

Mary is survived by her loving family, son, Mark A. Kidd, granddaughters, Mary Elizabeth Cahill and Sarah Ann Kidd, great-grandchildren, Kieran Archer Cahill, Isla Francis Cahill, siblings, Betty Connolly, Billy, Raymond, Mike, Gregory Doughty, Dremma Doughty.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, Noon, Tuesday, September 7, at the Elk Funeral Home, with Pastor Jesse Waggoner officiating. Burial will follow in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.

Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
