Norma J. Pierson

Norma J. Pierson, 94, of Charleston, WV, passed away on March 23, 2022, at CAMC Memorial Division, after a short illness.

Norma was born on January 12, 1928, to the late John and Martha Willey.

She was a Stonewall Jackson High School graduate and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She retired from CAMC. Norma was a charter member of Elk River Church of the Nazarene.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, sons, Gene (Bev) Pierson of Charleston, WV, Tom (Kathy) Pierson of Charlottesville, VA, daughter, Janet (Donnie) Hughey of Charleston, WV, seven grandchildren, Kevin Hughey, Bart (Rachel) Hughey, Jason (Amber) Pierson and Jeff (Kara) Pierson all of Charleston, WV, Josh, Zach and Nathaniel Pierson of Charlottesville, VA, and five great-grandchildren,  Logan Pierson, Sylvia Pierson, Joseph, Isaac and Sadie Hughey,

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 28, 2022, at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel of Peace with Pastor Bret Layton officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery next to her late husband, Eugene Douglas Pierson, Sr.

Family will receive friends 1 hour before the service at the Mausoleum Chapel.
