Oscar "Frank" Harper
November 24, 1944 — February 23, 2017
Oscar "Frank" Harper, 72, of South Charleston, beloved husband of Donna Marie (Scarberry) Harper, went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2017, after a long illness.
He is survived by daughter, Tina Heck (Tod) of Cape Coral, Fla.; son, James Harper (Helena) of Fletcher, Ohio; son, Jimmy Edens (Rachel) of Charleston; sister, Geneva Howell (Buddy) of Charleston; two brothers, Charles Harper (Donna Sue) of Clendenin and Denzil Harper (Angel) of Charleston; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 2, at Elk Funeral Home, 2001 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Tobia and James Patton II officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.
