Richard Clark

Richard Dale Clark, 72, of Elkview, West Virginia, passed away on August 26, 2026.

Richard was born in Charleston, West Virginia, on October 11, 1953, to the late Charles and Dorcas Kirk Clark. Richard is also preceded in death by his brothers Donald and David Clark. 

He is survived by his wife Angie, his children, Charles Allen Clark, TJ Clark, George Clark, and daughter Michelle Jarrell. His sister Cheryl “Susie” Lamb. Also, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is also survived by his 94-year-old father-in-law Jack Koontz, sister-in-law Barb Fritts and husband Eben, niece Lyndsey Marks and husband Dustin and their children Easton, Colter and Hannah, nephew Eben Fritts III, grandchildren Aiden, Ava, Jada, Keira, and Bailey. Nephew Michael Lamb, nieces Katie and Stephanie Lamb. Also, other family members are Sara Smith and Kathy Strother.

Rick enjoyed spending time traveling with his wife of 25 years Angie while he was healthy enough to travel. He played Elvis in a Broadway show on a Caribbean cruise and truly enjoyed it. He also enjoyed hunting, cooking, umpiring little league, spoiling his two dachshunds Okie and Beanie, wedding photography, karaoke, and Deejaying as Slick Rick.

He provided entertainment for the Putnam County Fair for several years. His pepperoni rolls were well known and he made them for the Senior Center in Elkview, He enjoyed spending time with his family as well, especially his grandchildren, Rick retired several years ago from Pepsi after 42 years of service, installing soft drink systems in local restaurants. He loved what he did and always came home and was tickled that the restaurant owners would feed him when he made a service call. Per Ricks wishes there will be no services.
