Robert Kenneth West

Robert Kenneth West, 88 of St. Albans, formerly of Gandeeville(Roane Co.), passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 in Cedar Ridge Nursing Home in Sissonville.

Kenneth was born May 21, 1931, to the late Otho and Bessie Moore West.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Guy, and sister, Ruth.

He was retired from the Roane Co. Board of Education and enjoyed antique car shows, reading, gardening, and just sitting on the porch, chatting with neighbors and anyone that happened to pass by.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 62 years, Earlene (Starcher) West, daughter, Sherry (Jeff) Keener, granddaughter, Alisha (Jason) Lathey, grandson, Christopher (Amy) Postalwait, great-grandchildren, Morgan Lathey, Cameron Lathey, Easton Postalwait, step-grandson, Tyler Keener of Chicago and step-granddaughter, Taylor Keener of Columbus, family and friends.

There will be no service and he is being cremated.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests, please make a donation in Kenneth's name to your local library.
