Ronsford L "Ron" Green

Ronsford L. "Ron" Green, 70, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 22, 2017, surrounded by his family.
He was born July 24, 1946, in Charleston, to the late Clyde and Juanita Thomas Green. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Green.
Ron was a member of the Cathedral of Prayer Baptist Church.
He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and was loved by all who knew him.
Left to cherish Ron's memory are his wife of 49 years, Bonnie Stutler Green; daughters, Rhonda (Jerry) Walker, and Amber (Jason) Pierson; grandsons, Chris Runion and Logan Pierson; sister, Sandy (Carlos) Morris, all of Charleston; and his beloved pet, Kizzy.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, May 26, at the Cathedral of Prayer Southern Baptist Church, 2324 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston, with Pastor Kevin Norvell officiating. Entombment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, and one hour before the service at the church.
