Royce A. Mace

Royce A. Mace, 51 of Charleston, passed away on December 10, 2016, at Charleston Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
He is survived by his much-loved children, Suzanne A. Mace and Samuel H. Mace of South Bend, Indiana; mother, Barbara J. Mace of Charleston; nephew, Daniel L. Mace of Charleston; aunts, Shirley Ashley (Ed) of Charleston, Linda Carver (Donnie) of Chesapeake, Stella Higginbotham (Darrell) of Chesapeake and Carol McCallister (Mike) of Goshen, Indiana; uncle, Fred L. Curry, Jr.,(Jeanne) of Goshen, Indiana; and a host of cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon E. Mace, Jr., and grandparents, Dr. Vernon E. Mace, Sr., Ruth A. Mace, Fred L. Curry, and Naomi Curry.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, December 13, at the Elk Funeral Home, 2001 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston, during which a short service will be held at 6:30 p.m., led by Rev. Louie Jeffrey.
