Sharon Elaine Boggs

Sharon Elaine Boggs, 66, of South Charleston, went to join her mother, best friend, and niece Kelli and be with the Lord on December 21, 2016.

She was born July 28, 1950, to the late Omer and Harlene Ross Caplinger. She was also preceded by a brother, Jerry Caplinger.

Sharon was a devoted Christian.  She retired from Kroger, Dunbar, and South Charleston in the floral department.  Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 21 years, William Michael Boggs; daughter, Angel (Tony) Gurski; grandchildren, Joshua, Kelsi, Nathaniel; sisters, Donna (Ray) Tate, Linda (Bobby) Maxwell, Cathy (Dave) Casebolt; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank C.A.M.C. Memorial Division nurses and staff, Hospice, Dr. Angela Whitman, Dr. Malanath Kayi, and a special thank you to Janet Prince for going above and beyond during this difficult time.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Wednesday, December 28, at Elk Funeral Home, 2001 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston, for a memorial visitation.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Kanawha/Charleston Animal Shelter, 1248 Greenbrier St., Charleston, WV  25311.
