Teresa Lynn Capehart

Teresa Lynn Capehart, 65, of Coopers Creek, passed away, February 13, 2022.

She was born March 22, 1956, to the late Bud Darby,Jr. and Geraldine Westfall Darby Burgess.

Teresa was also preceded in death by brother, Gregory Darby, grandparents, Judge and Mildred Westfall.

She was a Class of 1972, graduate of Herbert Hoover High  School, retired from State of WV Workers Comp Division and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Coopers Creek.

Teresa is survived by her loving family, son, Stephen Capehart of Las Vegas, NV, brother, Kevin Darby of Corpus Cristi, TX, companion and fiancee of 21 years, Ike Campbell of Charleston, sister-in-law, Tina Darby of Corpus Cristi, sister-in-law, LaDonna Darby of Coopers Creek, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Elk Funeral Home, with Pastor Art Morrison officiating.Burial will follow in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney,WV.  Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00, Saturday at the funeral home.

Due to COVID MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED.
