Timothy Hively

Timothy Wayne Hively, 66, of Indore, West Virginia, passed away on August 24, 2026. Timothy was born in Charleston, West Virginia on May 10, 1960, to the late William and Mildred Dobbins Hively. 

Tim spent his childhood getting into mischief with his brothers Billy, Richie, and Chris except for the time he spent hunting and fishing which he was deeply passionate about.

He was a 1978 graduate of CCHS where he graduated in the National Honor Society.

Tim was a stubborn man that was fortunate enough to have found love twice. The first time in 1994 when he met Ora Boggs, helping raise her children and remaining in love until her passing in 2015. The second time to Sandy Hanshaw whom he met in 2016 instantly feeling an overwhelming attraction to. Sandy and Tim spent the next 10 years happily in love until he lost his battle with cancer.

Timothy was preceded in death by his parents William D. and Mildred H. Hively, and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Left to cherish his memory are his brothers William Hively Jr. (Lisa), Richard Hively and Christopher Hively, all of Bomont, West Virginia, his nieces Allisa and Kelsey Hively, fiancee Sandy Hanshaw, bonus son, and grandchildren Veronica, Sterling, Patrick, Caitlyn, and Alex.

Timothy was a pipe liner working as a heavy equipment operator.

Per Timothy’s wishes, he will be cremated with no services.
